This week, we presented Symba to the global leaders of The McCain Institute’s Next Generation Professionals (NGP) program. Here are our top 3 takeaways from the experience.
On Wednesday, we had the incredible opportunity to present Symba to The McCain Institute for International Leadership and participants of their Next Generation Professionals (NGP) program. The McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University is dedicated to advancing character-driven global leadership based on security, economic opportunity, freedom and human dignity. Their Next Generation Professionals (NGP) program is a two-week training session with modules on values, ethics, and leadership. The NGP program draws in leaders from around the world. This year’s participants included Maryam Faghihimani, founder and president of the Center for Cultural Diplomacy and Development, Nathalie Mondésir, an activist from Haiti, and Talitha Goldmann-Kefalas, a project manager for refugee labor market integration in Berlin.
Two other SEED SPOT social entrepreneurs also presented their social enterprises to the audience. Aziza Ismail, founder of LiteraSeed, is promoting healthcare literacy for people around the world. Dr. Stephanie Schull, co-founder of Kegelbell, is addressing women’s health in safe and affordable methods. These founders truly exemplify how social entrepreneurship can generate a positive global impact, and we were excited to have shared the stage with them.
