Why do you need an internship management platform?
Over 2.5 million students in the United States participate in internships each year. Because there are no set standards of quality for internships, intern experiences can range from productive to extremely disorganized. This is a major problem because internships are one of the most important factors for landing a job after college and companies use internships to recruit upwards of 60% of their interns to full-time, according to NACE. The internship experience needs to be redesigned with structure and processes that guarantee positive learning experiences. You can achieve this by using an internship management platform that allows you to organize projects, provide resources, give quality feedback and engage with your interns.
“Building an internship program with a formalized structure for checkpoints, projects with multiple teams and interaction with leadership is critical. Any program should allow interns to present to the organization at the end of their experience so they can provide feedback that resonates throughout.” – Kevin Dunn, CEO of Decisely
Our team at Symba is dedicated to improving the internship experience and understands the value that an internship management platform can provide you. Our beta platform will help you optimize your internship program.
Do you run an internship program and/or manage interns? Symba is the tool for you. With Symba’s internship management platform, you can easily manage interns and intern projects in one central location. At the end of your program, you will be able to identify your star interns and review your entire program. Symba is your helping hand when it comes to creating the best internship experiences with clear organization and structure.
Our team at Symba has completed over a dozen internships and we have listened to the voices of hundreds of interns and intern managers. Symba has a pulse on the way millennials work and what they look for in a meaningful internship experience. We can help you build an amazing internship program.
Through extensive interviews with intern managers and human resource departments, we learned that, while there were tools in the market to help companies save time and increase productivity, they were missing a way to measure the effectiveness of their internship programs and wanted to increase the conversion rate of their talented interns to full-time employees.
“I have been working in HR for over 20 years, and I have never seen anything like Symba. We always struggle to understand what is happening in our internship program year round. This really fills a real gap.” – HR Director at a Local Government Agency
“It is so difficult for me to gather all the feedback from my intern managers throughout the program and track their experiences.” – Internship Manager at Large Engineering Firm
We are much more than a project management tool. We are creating engaging and comprehensive internship programs from onboarding to offboarding so that you can feel proud of the meaningful experiences you curated for your company’s interns.
